I'm getting bad service all of a sudden.

For the first week or so of having my phone I had full bars constantly, now I get 1-3 bars in the same area. What gives? has this happened to anyone else's moto g?

It's probably got nothing to do with the phone. The phone can only pick up the signal that's available in your area. What service provider are you using?

The new cricket. My room mate which has the same exact service provider as me has almost full bars constantly. it makes no sense to me.

Unless you've done some ROM flashing, or other mods, a phone really isn't going to loose reception like that, so odds are it's probably the service, for some reason.
