Downloaded, and placed into the CWM backup folder. No Spaces,.. Deleted the MD5 info... etc. Navigated to the back up folder... and selected restore. I get a few messages... none of which seem good.

Checking MD5 Sums...
Erasing boot before restore...
Restoring boot image...
system.img not found. Skipping restore of /system.
data.img not found. Skipping restore of /data.
.android_secure.img not found. Skipping restore of /sdcard/.android_secure.
Restoring cache...

Restore Completed


Except... not restore took place. I am still running the same rom i had before, just back to factory default, because i cleared the cache and reset, from instructions.. 7.)

Never mind. Got it. I downloaded 2 of the same files by accident. and one of the .img files had a (1).img in the name. It must have sharted the restoration.

I am still got this message though.

it is still booting and loading. Definitely the VM ROM. Stupid Red boot animation and audio.

You really should, include a link somewhere in this thread to the other threads for rooting and ,. i will just do it.

How To Root Samsung Galaxy Reverb SPH-M950 - YouTube how to root Stock 4.0.4. make sure you install Superuser from the Market, then run it right after you poot. You will not be rooted till Superuser is installed.

Mine says kinda the same thing...skipping restore of /extsdcard. Doesn't matter WHICH rom I use, that message is still there.

I think that has to do with wiping my md5 sum
