That's fine, go ahead and wait a month for the 2.2 update. It'll be one less person on the servers to make it that smidgen faster, and you can sit there pouting in wait for 2.2 while the rest of us are enjoying it.

I was lucky that that they pulled the update out before I could even update. Didn't have an issue. I guess I'll do what the OP will be doing. Wait for others to acknowledge that the update is okay before updating myself.

Same here Im going to wait one week before updating. Im not going through that mess again.

If you get a bricked phone because of an update sprint will have typo replace it so why aster you so scarred of a brick? Sure it sucks but you will get it replaced

This kind of thinking is like when a deer crosses the road and you do have insurance to pay for the damage, why not just run the deer over instead of trying to hit the breaks to avoid damage. Yes the damage can be repaired, but the hassle of paperwork, and waiting for your car to be fixed, also degrading the value of a perfectly fine car, for me - just ain't worth it.

In my neck of the woods you run the deer over instead of hitting a tree or another car. Make some nice stew or sandwhiches.
