I'm pissed and feel ripped off

I've had my Thunderbolt for 2 months now and I am not having ANY of the problems that everyone else seems to be having. My battery life is awesome, my phone works like it should, it is not having the reboot issue, heck, even my screen is not scratched. The speed is phenomenal, sound is perfect, and it takes amazing pictures. What the heck is up with this???? Why did I get stuck with a GOOD phone???? I want to be cool and have issues like everyone else. *sigh*

XD I lolled.

Well your not alone! Alot of us aren't blessed with a boatload of issues .. Mine was decent and didn't have hardly any issues...my replacement that is! First one was another story however...lol

I know, it sucks!

I got the box, opened it and my phone was AWESOME! The initial activation was a little wonky, but everything was gravy after that. It rooted easily, has a good number of custom ROMs and completely crushes my previous phone in every respect. I wish I would have got one of those cheap plastic feeling phones from one of the other makers on Verizon. =(

LOL - nice.

Even my Blackberry Bold rebooted from time to time.

I have to admit I had to return my TBolt for a CLNR because the data a connectivity was a problem, but my second one is superb.

I would say that if scratches on your smartphone because you were too dumb to put it in the same pocket as a bunch of rocks is your biggest concern, than life is pretty damn good.

:p

You poor soul. But you know, misery loves company. :D

LOL! I, too, was one of the unlucky ones with an awesome phone with no issues. And then I scored! The update came out and I was in reboot heaven. No idea why I decided to root and fix my problem. ;) I wait patiently every day for a reboot and it just doesn't happen.

This is the best phone I've ever owned.

The Thunderbolt has been out for a few months now and it's STILL the best phone in the market IMO.

Also, with the MR2 update, the radio seems to be greatly improved; better 3G/LTE handoffs, signal, GPS, and battery life.

Oh how glad I am to see a thread not bitching about what is wrong with this phone, if you really want your phone to be messed up you could try to throw on top of your house and then let it hit the ground, do that a few times and you too will have to joy of having a crappy phone. If that will not work for you then go get a hammer and just a few swift strikes to the screen or the back of the phone and you can experience the joy of frustration.

I followed your advice, and also dropped it in the toilet and let it soak for a few hours. I then threw it in the microwave on high for 20 minutes. I took it out, turned it on, and there was a new app installed on the phone which creates money on demand.

I guess I will need to watch more Gallagher before I post advice again.

Your battery life is no better or worse than everybody else and that battery life sucks. My battery life is pretty good but that's because I'm using the official extended battery.

yeah me too, I get good battery life, fast speeds, no resets, no scratches... the only thing is the 3G is a little slow, but their going to fix that very soon

BTW SUMMMMMMMMMEERRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!:):):):):):):):)

Mine's been great also and I'm still unrooted and have the last OTA. I occasionally post on one of the forums how great it works, but then I almost start feeling guilty about it, like I'm rubbing it in.

I have had zero problems with my Thunderbolt which I got on release day.

Until yesterday when the USB port broke and now the phone won't charge, and when I plug in a cable, the flash lights up.

I have a replacement coming on Monday and praying that it doesn't have the reboot issues.
