As stated in the title, I'm really looking forward to root my phone but I'm not at all familiar with the technical terms of things. Such as kernels, roms(which I will assume are different from emulator roms?), the difference between sense and vanilla, so on and so forth. I've been reading a few threads and I really want to open up the full potential of my Incredible but I want to understand the terms better so I know what everyone's talking about. And I was also wondering if changing roms is a simple copy/paste real or does it get more technical than that? Any help is greatly appreciated for a rookie like me!
