Help Image quality on TV when using HDMI output

First off - I have not done a lot of testing on this issue to say it is something global - but it was my experience yesterday....

So - Yesterday, I got my new cable for HDMI to Micro HDMI and I thought I would try it out. I hooked up my Xoom to a smaller LCD TV, I think its a 20 inch LCD screen. It has HD/HDMI.

The first thing I notice was just the general Xoom screen on the TV. It was pretty good but the color was a little off. Not too bad though.

But then I ran the Slingbox App to sling my TV signal to the TV from the Xoom. The image quality of the signal was poor. OK to watch something but poor enough that I would have rather watched it on the Xoom itself on the 10 inch screen. The quality on the Xoom itself was excellent.

I have not tried any other videos or played any local movies - so my limited experience is with the Slingbox. I will try some of these other aspects out soon but I wanted to get a sense from others what their experience was using the HDMI out to a HD LCD TV (720p I think is this TV).

Thanks!
