image/video quality from websites

viewing some websites with the images along with streaming some videos..the quality seems to be "lacking" compared to the the iphone3g i came from...or maybe its just me? any input?

Could be a defective GPU on your phone, I highly doubt this though if your screen otherwise looks fine, games run fine... but then again, you're talking about streaming images and video. Generally the quality lacks severely on those anyways, so nothing to be worried about.
