Reading camera reviews here and in other forums is like night and day. Either there are a lot of ID10T errors amongst the user base over there, or there are some very skilled photographers over here! At any rate, saw some pictures a co-worker took on his and they looked very good as well. I'm hoping to get my hands on one very soon

I agree. I was able to take some great pictures with my EVO 3D by making some setting adjustments and then later adding the Amaze camera hack. You have to adjust settings even on expensive cameras. I've been pretty impressed by many pictures I've seen, even some of the ones that others have been critical of. Perhaps I just don't know what is good, lol??! Ah well, I'm not trying to be a professional. I just want to adequately capture the fun, spontaneous moments in life, not win any awards

The majority of the pictures I've seen are great. I honestly couldn't understand why people elsewhere were being so critical. Seeing my co-worker's EVO 4G LTE in "person" has sold me. We have an upgrade coming up soon (5 lines, so a fairly regular rotation) sooooo...I reckon you'll be seeing quite a bit of me over here and hubby will retire the OG EVO and inherit the 3D. He claims all he cares about is being able to call people and text, which is good for me
I suppose if I stop Mickey Mousing around on my old phones I'd have time to post a picture sometime...

I set mine to -01 too after the first picture I took of a human came out too red.

Nice rig!
Image 1 turned out extremely well. The light coming down through the trees or whatever set a nice scene, I mean look at that grass. With the sensor facing away from the lighting, the "camera phone haze" is minimized.
