How do I save a image off the browser. I tried the hold for 2 seconds, didn't work. When I click the menu button on the image I want to save, it says save to gallery, but after saving it. It is still not in the gallery.

What browser are you using? Dolphin works doing what you describe. I've never used the stock browser much and it's not even on my phone now.

In the stock browser the correct way is the hold method, then save image. Then it should show as downloading in the notification bar. After download is complete you should be able to view it in the gallery in the downloads folder. You seem to be having lots of browser (see also "bookmarks" thread...) problems are you using the stock one or not?

The stock browser was ok at best but couldn't handle some websites. I went to the free Opera browser, i know some don't like it either, but so far it has been nothing but great for me. I tried Firefox too, sucked.. Slow and didn't display sites correctly.
