I'm pretty new to this world of androids and still sorting some things out and hope someone here could offer some help or suggestions.
I have my main email account through my Cable TV provider internet service. I signed up for Gmail and have the Gmail app on my Hero. I was using the POP3 option on the Gmail account so it would fetch my email from my main account and push to the Hero.
I just changed this so I'm now using IMAP instead. When I receive my email fetched from my main email address, it's pushed to my Hero Gmail app as usual. When I reply to the sender of an email on my Hero, my return email address that they see is the Gmail address, not my main address that the email was fetched and originated from. I know there was an option for this when I was using POP3 and that worked well.
Is there something that I need to configure somewhere for this to happen, or is this just way it works with IMAP?
