Help IMAP Problem with new S2

Upgraded my HTC Desire to a new S2 last week.

I then upgraded the firmware to ICS.

Setup my work exchange account using the stock email client - No problem.

I then setup my Yahoo mail using IMAP (using same settings that worked fine on the HTC) but the problem I am having is that if I delete an email on the S2 or move and email it does not replicate this delete or move in my yahoo webmail version.

Am I mising something (it does seem to update the change if I read an email, in that it flags the message as read on webmail).

Many thanks.

i think it's the ICS fw problem.. i always hear complaints about ICS

I don't have an IMAP account on my phone to see if this option still exists but I do remember there used to be an option that you had to set so the server deleted items you deleted on your phone. The default was always not to delete items from the server you deleted from your phone.

Not sure about IMAP, but I set up my yahoo account and I think it was using POP3. It was pretty much automatic. You also need to select as premium account. That way any changes in the phone will be reflected in the server.

Works fine for me....

You might want to delete the account and try setting it up again. Make sure select as premium account
