Hi all,
I've got a problem/question that I desperately need help with. I am struggling to see why it has been designed this way but now that it was I need a way of solving the problem.

I am currently using the stock email application. I have synced a couple of my email address (Own domain via IMAP, hotmail, gmail etc). The email account I

I had issues with my domain emailing service a while back that was somewhat similar. The problem ended up being on the domain side and not the email application on the phone. Might try talking to your hosting service to see what they say.

OK checked with domain provider and all is OK. Also checked the settings on a BB and iPhone and it all checks out. Both the BB and iPhone have the option to store sent emails on the server or locally.

Going through it all again I just don't understand why there isn't an option to save sent emails to a specified location. And why is it displaying the sent items on the server by sender....

Am I the only one experiencing this issue?

Well maybe K9 will be the way to go....

Would appreciate help or sugggestions from others on the forum.

Thanks!

if this is something important to you, head over to the HTC support forums and search to see if this has been discussed. if not, open up a ticket and/or call them.

You will have to use an email app that allows you to define the imap root folder. The stock email app doesn't but K9 and Maildroid, just to name a couple, do.
