Import / export address book from Thunderbird: data missing

Biffos

When I copy my address book of Thunderbird to my phone there are some data missing (images also), e.g. the one of the field not existing on the address book of the phone, respectively some data are shown in another way on the phone, e.g. the field "Display", the way the name / which data for the name is displayed, on the phone is displayed the first and last name and in Thunderbird is shown what is filled in in "Display".

What could be the best way to copy data to the phone from Tunderbird?

The best way and the easiest way is to export from Thunderbird into Gmail on the computer. Then make any adjustments necessary and then just sync from the phone. Life made easy right there.

Thanks argedion.

So there is a program Gmail for Windows obviously, may be one of those I should use for it?

Sorry for missunderstanding, so by "computer" you mean the phone: "...Thunderbird into Gmail on the computer."

OK, so, firstly export the contact data from Thunderbird to Gmail on the Internet and then from there to Gmail on the phone, that's it. I understand.

Many thanks.
