Import pictures from camera.

[coachp]

I hook my camera up to my tablet and it takes me to the screen where I can touch to import the pictures from the camera. It all works great, however it will only let me import up to 24 pictures. Right now there's 33 pictures on my camera, can only import 24 .
It's NOT due to available space, I have 13 gigs of free space.

What type of camera is it?

A Nikon- a typical digital camera. Don't know the model # or anything, I'm not around it right now. I plug the USB into the camera and then into the tablet, screen comes up to import all pictures, shows all 33 of them, but will only import up to 24.

Have you tried using a card reader with the card from the camera?
