Important Question about Droid X

So I got the 1st Droid for Christmas and I want to upgrade. Plus I'm getting birthday money on July 12th. How can I upgrade? I REALLY want this phone, so any help is appreciated. :)
 
awww man! your birthday is on july 12th too?!! and here i thought i was the only one. shucks! you could always sell your droid and buy the droid x with birthday money + droid 1 money. also, some people have the option to upgrade every year (depends on your plan i think).

lol yup :D but I thought Verizon was holding a promotion like AT&T's iPhone one were if you bought the 3GS last year, you can upgrade to the iPhone 4 for free (or something like that) so are they doing that with the Droid?

if your current contract ends this year. you may upgrade when the X comes out (july 15th)

The main line can upgrade every year if you are on a plan $49.99 or higher a month
 
not to be the bearer of bad news, but your one year mark is christmas 2010 (assuming you got the d1 at xmas '09). you can get an x any time you like, but not at the cheaper pricing until 12/10.
 
Hey my Bday is July 11 (7/11). I must be younger than you guys. Oh damn wait, that makes me older for sure.
 
Just pretend the retail price is the discounted price?

Sorry man. Call 611 and complain. Say your droid won't load megan fox pics. That would be a huge defect

NE2? What's that? But anyway..:( What will happen if I ask them to buy the Droid X even though I don't have an upgrade option? I should still be able to buy it right?
