Help Importing contacts

I haMy wife and I got SIII's yesterday. She did not export her contacts I was under the impression that you could still import them from Gmail. My phone wouldn't read the csv file I saved either. In fact it wouldn't read any data I had saved to it. Any insight to either of these issues would be greatly appriciated. The SD card is new. Not corrupted.

Hi. If you sign in the phone with your google account then the contacts saved in the account will be dowloaded on the phone. Or is that what you are asking? The contacts are not being downloaded. You shouldnt have to import csv files really as signing in will automatically populate your contacts from gmail.

so I think with my last few phones I've used verizon back up assistant....can this phone use that? I have contacts backed up on google but I notice a lot of them don't have phone numbers, just emails.

Should I just add phone #'s to my google contact list on google?

I doubt you S3 will use Verizon's back up assistant. Likely best to just add your numbers.

Thats what i figured.

Just added all numbers to google, should be good to go!
