Some times people figure out that my phone is rooted and they ask, "what's the point of rooting my phone?" They won't understand if I tell them oh well I can flash custom roms and over clock my cpu and all that other good stuff. Is there anything awesome that I could show them?

You could show them how your phone isn't drowning in bloatware anymore.
If you've got anything like adfree or adaway you can show them how you don't have to look at ads anymore, and how you got rid of that super annoying Virgin Mobile startup tone!
