after searching for rom after rom im actually impressed with cyanogenmod 9.beside its visual imperfections of doubling up the drop down notifications and scrambling the visuals occasionally, its a very nice rom.also, what i really like is that the volume buttons acts as a song switcher, which,is really nice...due to my song always being changed while in my pocket.i had a hard time installing it as some others may have experienced, but, all the package is,is an update,so,whatever rom you are running,(since they're based off of kingdom),just install the update and do a factory wipe and install the gapps package and the fastkernel-v5 and you should be started.only real problem i ran into was that: my cwm backup was also erased,so,after backing up make sure to copy the file to your desktop.its nice though.and im sorry 2fast,cm10 is nicer, but, still needs work.i am eagerly awaiting cm10 for it to be fully functional though.whats everyones thoughts on cm9?

Cm9 is not likely to happen on this phone as we already have a dev working on Cm10. And as 2fast has said in another post (hidden somewhere in these forums i believe), it is easier to build from the cm10 tree than it is cm9 as there are more fixes for cm10, which means less things that have to be done to get them working. Yet cm10 is better overall than cm9, am i wrong here?

cm10 is a lot cleaner, but, not fully functional yet.cm9 is on my phone,so,what are you saying that it is not for this phone?it works pretty well beside the visual bug.i like it myself.

got tired of the bugs so i went on to the blue rom.patiently awaiting ctmod or cm10's final

Am patiently waiting to but don't think either will happen.cm10 is where its at and I doubt bloodawn will bring ct mod, I think 2fast is all we have hoping he brings updates for his ROM.

:"yelling:","Blooddawn.....where are you?." we really need a ctmod for this.it seems as though 2fast is posting no update for the cm10.and this kingdom rom is really really boring the cra* outta me.somebody anybody please give us something fresh

If im not mistaken.. CTmod is based off of CM7... SOOOooo since it IS based off of Cyanogenmod, We would still need a stable cyangenmod rom.

I am not to sure of that, bloodawn made ct mod for the zte warp and there's no cyanogen mod for that phone.

there arent many but its better than these plain boring roms we got.
so if i were to use the hero s rom will i be able to change the us cellular to boost by switching apn's?

Hero and HeroS is two different phones. They are not the same nor will roms interchange. As for the HeroS roms as far as I know those are done by me but a few over at sdx. Where if sense based and ics you can't restore apns. You will need to decompile the framework res to add in the apn info.

I haven't messed with it much due to cm kept breaking things one after another. The booting issue I kept getting after doing the first few builds was them changing and merging things that broke other stuff. The main issue with it is the rendering/framebuffer issues. Where I haven't got time to dig and look what is doing it but I would venture to guess it was something changed as the first builds didn't suffer near as bad as they do now.
