Help In Call Volume WAY to loud Samsung GS3

i have just flashed CM10 monthly 2, and i noticed this right away.

haven't tried any other ROMs, but according to other posts here, it's all the same.

also, as Jay2d2 mentioned, the call settings check boxes are not available on CM10.

Same problem here. Ridiculously loud.

I don't even know how you report this to the Cyanogenmod team? Anyone?

Thank you, GTWalling. Your tip addressed the problem for me. I too am new to Android and had completely overlooked the Settings that can be accessed from the Keypad itself. The call volume is still too loud for my liking (and rocker buttons don't help) but at least I'm no longer suffering hearing loss with every call. I set up an account just to say thanks for taking the time to help!

From the dialer screen hit the menu button and select Settings. Make sure Use extra vol. for calls is unchecked.

I followed these steps and it did help. I'm running Supercharged wiz build 3. I like it and now the call volume is fixed . Thanks!

Mr Jay2d2 ..... I have the same stupid problem ... s3 not rooted ... but I don't know what happened. ... finally I find solution and it work with me very good ... application named volume control+ in Google store ... use sitting ( lock volume )
Really it fix it finally ... I was thinking to sell my phone really but its finish ... may be in next update they will repair it and no need for application
