Nah, I really never watched the show. Even the "holy grail" movie I didn't find to be the holy grail of comedy. I did quite enjoy "A Fish Called Wanda" although that's not quite the same thing. In the British Humour genre my favorite was Benny Hill.

The Monty Python shows were a bit hit-and-miss for me, but I thought their films were really funny.

My favorite Python-esque movie, and a cult classic comedy, is Yellowbeard. I defy anyone into dry humor to get through that movie without laughing. It has an all-star cast of comic actors of the day (and a few surprises), and never ceases to amuse me.
