Root In desperate need of help

I'd been looking into rooting for a few weeks now and decided to take the plunge this morning. After downloading Universal Auto Root, found here [ROOT] ~~~ HTC EVO - Universal Auto Root ~~~ v2.3 (works with all version)(2/13/11) - xda-developers, I proceeded to follow the directions to start the root. My problem is when it got to the part it said to say no to reboot by pressing volume down, my fingers slipped and pressed volume up. It proceeded to get stuck on the white HTC Evo screen for several minutes (10+) and I pulled the battery. Now I can't get it to go past that white screen or load the bootloader. If I have it off, it still charges, but thats about all it does.

Any help would be loved.

Update:

Thanks to one of my friends, I managed to at least get back into the bootloader. Now to just figure out from here...

Update II: After four hours of playing with it, manged to fix it myself. Thanks to those who would have helped though!
