Hi all,
Pushing into my 3rd week with the Sensation and still loving every second of it!
As I'm becoming more familiar with the phone, a few little things crop up. This time round, it's something that happens in the Inbox. Texts from different contacts display different information in the Conversation Thread view.
Example 1:
(Message from) Matthew (M 043-XXX-XXXX): Message Text Here
** This displays the contact name, followed by the mobile number
Example 2:
(Message from) Mark: Message Text Here
** This displays the contact name, but no number.
Example 3:
(input field)
To: 043-xxx-xxxx
-----------------
Add text
** This now displays the "To" details in the 'Compose Message' section down the bottom, where most simply display "Add text" without the recipient details.
SO, I've gone through and racked my brain as to what could be causing these differences - so far, have not managed to find a constant reason. Have been looking into things like multiple contact numbers / details listed under individual contacts, whether or not they're linked in to a facebook profile, whether their numbers are entered in as "04XX-XXX-XXX" or "04XXXXXXXX" (without the " - " 's between), and I simply can't work it out ...
