Inbox issues...

I've moved on from the Desire...now rocking 2.3 on the Nexus S, but before I abandon this sub forum completely I wanted to ask you guys about a frequent problem I had with my sms inbox.

Basically if I wanted to open a thread, for example, 'Dave', I would tap that thread only to find the phone opening the thread belonging to, 'Rachel'. This would happen over and over again each time I selected 'Dave'. Opening other threads worked fine and the only way to remedy it was to exit the messaging app, lock the phone and start again! It happened too with received messages, open message and end up somewhere unrelated!

Became seriously annoying. This was stock messaging app, phone was not rooted or anything else.

Anyone else experienced same?

They were just examples, it happened randomly across all my contacts.

I get this sometimes too. Its an android issue, not HTC. I dont use a HTC rom so thats how I know

However, I just exit the misopened thread and open it as normal and its fine. Doesn't happen often either.
