Inbox list not shown on GMAIL android

Dear,

I just noticed that I cant see my old email on my inbox, but when new email arrive I can see all email in my inbox but then after I go back to main menu it dissapear again.

I use Gmail ver 4.6 .

it;s sound weird , can somebody share the experience ?

Welcome to Android Forums!

When you open the Gmail app, it should display "Inbox" at the top above your account name. If not, tap the account and you can select it from the folder list that appears.

Also in Gmail, go to Menu/Settings/<Account_Name> and check both that sync is enabled and that the sync period is suitable for you. I use a 30 day sync - anything older than that will have been dealt with and no longer important.

gmail has a habit of only showing the "Priority Inbox". You can switch it to the regular inbox.

I don't use gmail much, so I can't recall the steps, and the phone is upstairs.
