Root Inc root instructions

Yes that's the way. No, it's not permanent root. BEST TO WAIT UNTIL A METHOD OF OBTAINING PERMAMENT ROOT IS MADE AVAILABLE. Won't be long....

ok, I know I have only had android for a little over a month now, but the instructions might as well be in mandarin chinese....when they figure out an "easier way" to root it, is it like running a program, or am I going to need a degree in programming to mess with this stuff????

Just read through some adb guides and mess around with it. You'll eventually get a feel for it.

be patient. the current info is how rooting was achieved and the hack-n-slash way it was done. there are posters stating they are working on formal instructions.

They are going to make it so people like you can do it. For windows mobile, it was run a program, wait 15 minutes, its done.

Also - The current root seems like it is lost after a reboot. The perks of having root prior to that is to remove CityID.

I tried and tried this AM to get it running. Rebooted 50+ times and never got it to connect.

I'll hold off until an easier method is out. :)

Did you have an SD card in the phone? That seems to trigger the race condition.
