Apparently it was a test HTC phone that already has the OTA update that should be coming for us
First post here. Great site.
I am actually very satisfied with the video quality of my Incredible. I am super impressed with the 8MP camera. I understand that more megapixels is most important if you want to blow up a picture, which actually can come in handy if you get a good shot you want to enlarge.
But more MP does more than just allow you to make poster size pictures. It captures more detail in all pictures. So, even if you dont plan to print, you can zoom in on a shot and see details after the fact. Quite handy.
It is a phone, and that seems forgotten a lot. Compared to my Moto Droid, the camera is a nice step up, and if/when the 720P OTA update comes, I will be ecstatic. I couldnt reasonably ecpect more from a PHONE.
If I want to take better pictures, I will break out my D-SLR.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you- these are two videos that we took that day. One was taken with my incredible, and the other was taken with my friends first gen flip.
Yes I know that the flip is supposed to be a video camera as opposed to the incredible being a "phone with a camera, but I still expected a more comparable result. Audio in these particular videos is less of an issue but is apparent in other ones where we are still/talking.
Yes this was indeed taken at the highest resolution possible...
I REALLY hope that in the 720p update they decide to upgrade the audio at the last second be fore shipping it out the door....

PS- To those who asked- This kind of skiing is quite easy to do in july

Thats looks a lot of fun, but I can see what you say by the audio, im hoping that that can be fixed in the future, that we can record higher audio somehow...
