Included micro SD

As I'm waiting for my DInc2 to arrive I've been spending a lot of time looking into all kinds of accessories for my new device.

I'm considering getting a new SD card, not so much for capacity, but more for read/write speed. Can anyone tell me what class card the phone comes with, and what the max class card that the phone can effectively use?

+1 for replying to your own thread, right?!

I read this today on another forum... but not sure how trustworthy the poster was.

"i'm running a 32gb class 10 without problem"

I know from putting a class 10 card in my Nikon camera, that it made a big difference in the recording and play back of HD footage -especially long 1080p videos. I can only assume that it would help in the Inc2 as well. Whether the phone is able to do anything faster with a class 10 as compared to 6 is still up in the air, I guess.

I've recorded several 5+ minute videos without issues. The difference between 1080 and 720 is fairly significant. Other than a concern for video why do you need faster than class 6?

I don't really NEED a class 10... was just curious as to what the phone came with stock, and what class it could potentially use efficiently. Outside of HD video, I would expect that it would speed up opening and possibly the functioning any apps stored on the card, scroll through a ultra-loaded up photo galley with buttery smootheness, etc.

My DInc2 just came in the mail a few min ago (2 days early!). Popped the back cover, pulled the card and it is a class 4.

How hard was that, android community? Over 100 views of the thread, and no one could just pop their card out and look at it? Yeesh! :p (j/k, I love you all :D)

I just couldn't bear the thought of having to shut down my Inc2 for any significant amount of time to check. You'll soon understand. ;)

lol, well said. My new DInc2 is doing it's maiden charge-up right now. I'm so tempted to start playing with it. I've already photoshopped a few 800*960 wallpapers and I'm anxious to seeing how they look on her.
