Help Incoming message alert while talking on the phone

When I am on the phone and a message or voice mail is left, the notification blares in my ear. Anyone else experienced that and is there a resolution?

yes its very annoying..i have mine on vibrate so it vibrates in my ear and i cannot hear my conversation during the vibrate..very annoying..this is the only phone that does that.

Download ChompSMS. Its a better message app than the stock one because it will give you a message preview while you are running other apps. There is also a setting to let you turn off the sound or vibration during a call.
