Help incoming messages look?

In the inbox screen is the a way to make the person with the new msg for me highlited or something? I get my tone then have to look at each persons txt dialog to see who just sent me one?
 
For SMS? Usually it has a green bar underneath / beside the person's pic / icon - under if you're using the default messaging app (IIRC) and beside if you use Chomp / Handcent....
