Help Incoming text message not alerting at all!!

ok, so whenever i text someone and they text me back within that same minute or so, my evo doesnt ring at all. i think it's just an immediate reply that this happens. Does anyone have this problem?

im running stock 2.2 with everything updated. yes, i have audiomanager and everything is at max.

Go to the messaging app and go to the settings inside it, make sure you have a ringtone set, and make sure notifications are on.

everythings on. this problem is kinda hard to explain:

like say i text u, and u reply right away (within that minute), youre text wont ring on mine. I'll just keeping thinking you havent responded to me

Yea I get that a lot too. Honestly, I've had a lot of problems with this kind of thing since 2.2.

Same here. It works sometimes, then other times it doesn't. Strange.
