Incoming Text while on a call

[evoski3553]

If I am talking on the phone and a text message comes through I get a very annoying beep beep......beep beep noise through the speaker. Is there any way to prevent text message alerts while on the phone. I want alerts at all other times however.

Thanks for any help

Sorry but I don't think their is an option or app to edit that at all

if you are using handcent, then there is an option under the settings to modify the notifications for "sound on call" which if unchecked, will not beep when you are on calls.
