Root Incompatibility with device....?

I have researched this seemingly popular bug/glitch and I have found three answers. one Which didn't help the other two I don't understand.

When I try to update apps or download apps I have had previously I get the black bar on top which states that "This version is not compatible with your device."

One method to remedy this problem was to change the LCD back to 240... not solved.

The other fix was to use Real APK Leacher and download the apk from Google Play onto my computer... Not familiar with this.

The third was to change my device id which one can do with a rooted phone... once again I'm lost.

Anyone who has paticular experience solving this issue please lend a hand.

Thanks

9 times out of 10 its the market issue.

Did you wipe data from Market and wipe cache from market then reboot?

Thanks for the help... I tried both suggestions but no luck.

i ended up changing roms and that fixed it.

Yeah the ROM you changed to put your LCD back to stock 240.

You have to do the order right in order to fix the issue. It's kinda tricky. But at least you got it right.
