Help Incompatible Games - new Nexus 7

Hi,

I looked at many games reviews for new Nexus 7 and when i tried to download those games it saying my device is incompatible.
For example:
riptide (GP and GP2)
Wild Blood
Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour

and many others that suppose to be compatible with New Nexus 7.

My friend bought it in US at Best Buy and now i am using it outside of US.

Please Assist, thanks.
 
Give it time, it's not officially out in allot of countries yet.

It's just a case of them adding the device to list of compatible devices, But some developers will take longer than others to do this. Gameloft for example can take months. :mad:

so it is related to the country not the the Tablet?
strange... because when something usually is country resricted it's saying "this item is not available in your country" and if device is not compatible it is saying "incompatible with your device"
 
Shocky was saying that it's likely related to the fact that the developers haven't updated the list of compatible devices that correlate to the specific app. Some come fast, and others come painfully slow. :(

so if it is not related to country but the device it is very strange because i see reviewers on youtube and over the web showing those games on their New Nexus 7 devices claiming it is working great and fully support, same games i tried to download but strangely are not supported.

Or maybe i didn't understand you correctly.
 
I have all of those games on my Nexus 7 2013, except for Wild Blood, haven't checked that game out yet. I even was able to download Real Boxing, even though the app says Tegra 3.

It probably is compatible, but the developer hasn't signed off on it being compatible with the play store. They probably got the game through another method. It might be a legal one (another marketplace like Amazon or TegraZone), or might not be(illegally downloading a stolen apk).

this is what i am saying there is no reason i can think of that Play Store saying my new Nexus 7 is not compatible.

To help you out, I'm going to move this thread to the Nexus 7 forum. More users of that tablet will be there and be able to chip in their testimonies or advice.

I wish I had the 2013 Nexus 7, but alas I only have the 2012 edition.
 
If you refresh the page, it will automatically take you there. There will also be a link where you originally posted that redirects to it for 2 days.
 
Those games are not there because they are not compatible, or have not been certified yet. They will be shortly, I am sure! I am waiting on some myself, NFS, etc.

but as i already said there a ones that have those games on new nexus 7!
also scot99 here in the thread mention he have them and they are working good.
