If you are on a pure AOSP rom I suggest flashing a Sense based rom. I was having same issue with 4g before i went back to sense rom.

This has been going on for the better part of a month for me. When I called Verizon they tried to play dumb and suggested it was my phone. The lady said there were no other reports of problems with 4G in my area. She said I should go to a retail store and get a new SIM card (no charge). Others have reported this didn't change anything. I don't want to bring it in because when they see my phone is rooted they will blame it on that and nothing will convince them otherwise. Everyone with this problem needs to keep calling Verizon until they do something about it. This is absolutely ridiculous.
I've found my 4g more consistent the past couple days. A few minutes of downtime yesterday.
Anyone else experiencing better connection?
Hmmm... Just realized it got better the same day my billing cycle ended. The 22nd. Was up to 13gb.

I was having problems with Juice Defender (plus version) and stopped using it. I've found that I don't need it anymore, and seem to get just as much time now as when I was using it. It could be a power saving feature messing with your radio.I live in a city where I've never had issues with Verizon reception or connecting to 4g (or 3g back in the day). But recently, regardless of where I am (work or driving or home), my 4g cuts out non stop. I notice it when I'm using the FB app, doing anything in the internet browser, trying to do google searches, etc. I have juice defender and juice defender plus, and thought maybe for a while that that app was just wiggin out on me, but even when I don't have it running, my 4g still blows. Suggestions?
