Root Incorrect network time.

Having an interesting problem. When I select automatic network time, It sets to eastern time, while I'm actually in central time zone. I can just manually set it, but I'm interested why this is happening out of nowhere. I should mention I'm running the latest ctmod. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Edit: I tried to delete the end of this post with the language details, but it wont go away.. Sorry about that, not sure what that's about..

It could be something to do with the time change. Mine went back two hours Sunday morning instead of just one. Reboot fixed it

Same problem here, mine went back to GMT ( London ) time.... First I adjusted manually, then I rebooted and selected "Automatic" again......

Must have been a glitch with the DST !!!

Well, I also noticed the following :

Regardless if TWRP or CWM Recovery is installed, even if the time on the phone is correct, either TWRP or CWM backups show on my phone a time stamp of +/- 0 GMT time, which is London time, actually ahead 7 hours of my current MST !!

I also tried to adjust with TWRP ( you can do this in TWRP, but not CWM ) the time zone, but still no help.

Currently, I have re-installed CWM, but backup-time-stamps are still 7 hours ahead of my time !!! However, the "Automatic" times settings and also Alarms show the correct current time.......... Just seems like, there is "somewhere" in the phone a second time !!!!

I've tried rebooting, with no luck. I'm also using TWRP, which I hadn't even known had a time setting. I'll have to play around with that. Just to confirm, are both of you using ctmod?

Edit: on a side note, can anyone explain why the end of my posts are jacked up?

I am using CTMod3.68 with Koumakernel in DATA mode !!

And yes, TWRP lets you adjust time, so I thought it might be the problem and Hroark pulled TWRP since it has some problems with the Prevail. But CWM is doing the same thing......... So I don't know what the problem could be !! But it's not effecting the Phones time once booted up.....also the Alarm works fine !! It's just that CWM and TWRP writes wrong times to the backups ( GMT, London time ! LOL ) !!!

@kilospade do you use tapatalk? Did you accidentally add it to your signature?
