Increase headphone jack volume output

I am rooted and using the Simplicity ROM I found on this site.

Title sums up what I'm trying to do, anyone have a solution?

I hooked my phone up to the auxiliary jack on a cheapo sound system we have but the volume is just way too low and I know for certain these speakers are capable of more.
 
The amp on the motherboard can put out a certain volume level. You can get apps that will drive it harder, but that almost always leaves the volume the same and increases the distortion. Some people think it sounds like more volume, but it isn't. Volume is a hardware issue, and you can't change the hardware by installing apps. (It doesn't matter how much volume a speaker can put out, it matters how much power you put into the speaker, and that's the amount that the amp puts out.)

There are a few phones that don't push the amp all the way, and you can get a little more volume from those phones - but at greatly reduced battery life.

You can try plugging tthe phone into a higher-sensitivity input on the sound system, like the mic input, but it's probably going to be much too high level for mic input and you'll get a lot of distortion. (You can use a signal reducer, called an attenuator, between the phone and the sound system. If it's variable attenuator, you can adjust it to maximum volume you can get without distortion. See places like Radio Shack for things like that.)
 
Got it to be significantly louder just by using Beats from Simplicity. After playing around with it I found all you have to do is enable the equalizer and then set all 6 sliders to their maximum setting. Thanks everyone!
 
For better sound. Higher quality audio. You need a better sound driver. The awesome beats implication was an okay idea. But really for the best sound most bass and ultimate control of volume, distortion, bass, treble, surround, etc, etc..... Vipers audio mod is the king of all audio drivers..... Including for windows. Google viper audio apk. And get the xhifi for simplicity and best battery life or off you want the best quality and loudest volume go with the xfx. Install the ultra high quality driver. You will never go back...... It turns any dual core phone into a thousand dollar equalizer, decompresser, surroundsound on par with thx.

this sounds amazing... chev, you should totally replace awesome beats with this in simplicity 3.0.0

the developer of the app has info for devs who would like to put it into their ROM. I really think you should... why is it better than awesome beats? --- it actually works :D

I've been hearing good stuff about viper, it will certain make its way to 3.0.0. Awesome beats is complete a$$, honestly its just a overrated Equalizer and it won't be in SimplicityXL 3.0.0 whenever that comes about after KK lol. I've been working from the main power of this phone "The Kernel" and I've been making some changes to Zippy kernel when it comes to OC, Sound, and smooth optimizations. I plan to drop it sometime very soon in the zippy kernel thread. I believe i left Zippy Beta number on 4.2B8, and since then there has been 6 new unreleased beta versions that only Seriath and i have used. Just a few days ago Zippy kernel has exited the Beta stages and is now completely stable. To give you an idea of what this new version is like, i've underclocked my phone to 1.2ghz and i still maintain the speed and no lag that i use to get in Simplicity Kernel at 1.5ghz. Say bye bye to Simplicity kernel cause it doesn't have sh*t on zippy.
