Help Increase speaker sound

I just received the phone.
Unlocked the bootloader, rooted and installed Midnight. Didnt even bother testing before.
Now I know how low the volume is. You can hardly hear anything. It's crazy...

And I have the posted this does not work. Yes it reads the values and stores them it doesn't work. Try to change the banner it will store it but it will not show it on the phone

Changing my values to the max and using volume+ nearly doubled my max volume..hmm the forum did say it is a hit or miss, sorry it does not work for you guys, looks like you guys might not get a fix:(

Volume + did increase my volume marginally, more so with the headphone than the speaker.
 
I can verify QPST mod does not work. I changed all the values to 4 under sound. Rebooted the phone, went back to QPST to verify the values were written.

No change in sound volume. I wonder why this works for the EVO 3D and not our phones.

You can verify this mod does not work for YOU. Did you try it along with volume+? This noticeably increased my speaker output

That seems to be the case. Yes i tried it with volume+. No changes.

From xda, it seems it works on some evo 3D and not others. Same as us.. that sucks. I will be getting another EVO on Monday and test it out.

I suppose that it might be kernel related, just guessing though.
 
I just flashed a Rom and it seems as though most of the Roma drastically increase the volume. I am now on vanilla and it great
 
I am running the vanilla Rom. They have many things to boost sound and they work well. I notice a big difference. It is the vanilla built from the meanrom. The mean has nothing and the vanilla runs sense. Check them out in all things root
