Increasing headphone levels?

Has anyone found an app or mod that allows you to increase the maximum audio output of the evo? I know others have been complaining about the maximum audio level being too low. I get in my car and just can't hit that level i'm looking for. Haven't had this problem with other audio devices.
 
I have this problem too. With headphones, the level seems to be really good an loud. But when i plug into my car stereo, even at max volume on the evo i still have to crank the audio on my head unit, almost maxing it out.
 
I haven't had this issue whatsoever. At maximum volume, it's pretty much the exact same loudness as anything else I've hooked up to my car radio.
