Incredible 2 camera scratch(?) problem

My incredible 2 recently started adding black marks to all my pictures.
At first I thought it was just a dirty lens, so I carefully cleaned it. when that didnt work I bought a lens replacement piece online. I carefully took the phone apart. It took me over an hour because I have fat clunsy fingers.
I finally got the new lens in place and the phone back together. I fired it up and much to my dismay, my heart sank when I turned on the camera and the spots were back.

I have rooted the phone and now I have removed the "void" sticker so I am guessing a trip to VZW is probably out.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hey pal I did the exact same thing as you, I have the same problem. Did you wind up finding an answer to your prob?

Did you also take apart your phone and void the sticker?


Also, did you guys try to clean the camera lens itself with a little alcohol and a qtip? That might be the problem
