I was hoping if some people could give me some reviews on the incredible 4G. I may be getting this phone and just want to make sure its a good go or a bad go if that makes sense.

Thanks!

There are literally dozens of reviews on these forums and on the internet, are you looking for something specific?

Ok here is my two cents,I really like the phone, size is great everything runs good as far as the phone goes. My problem is with the 4g.have the rezound before I never thought the 4 g was earth shattering.found the same for the inc.4g. It runs like crap on the 4g.runs great on 3g. It doesn't matter if there is 1 bar or 5 bars on 4g it sucks. 3g runs good on 2 bars. Maybe it's just me but that is how it's been for me so far. I don't think it's the phone, because it kicks butt on 3g I think it's the 4g network. Maybe other people can chime in on that. Hope that helps.

If you want a mid to low end smart phone this will be great little phone.

Other than the fact that the screen isn't 4.3" or larger & the storage is 8gb, what makes this "low end"? It has the same processor as the S3, just underclocked .3GHz, & is equal to or better in GPU performance. Hell going by performance only, this phone is overall 2nd on Verizon's lineup right now.

Just because it's smaller doesn't mean low end. There are plenty of larger screened alternatives, it's nice to have solid performance in a smaller form factor for those who want that. Everybody says one of the greatest benefits of Android is choice, so it's nice to have a smaller choice in form factor without sacrificing performance. I know there are larger phones coming from Moto, LG, & even HTC in short order that'll push it further down the ladder, but happens no matter how advanced we think a phone is, in a month or two it will be second best.

I don't seem to have any problems with 4g I get with the SpeedTest.net app 13Mbps down and 10Mbps up pretty reliably no matter 1 bar or 5.

Compared to the Original Incredible I had this phone is blazing fast.

I concur, 4G is just fine. I am on 4G about 50% of the time, and it is very fast. I got 32Mb/s down first time I tested it, and average 7-12Mb/s generally.

I have had the Incredible 4G for one week now. OG Dinc owner here.

Screen -- nice, I like the colors and the sharpness

Calls -- Reception good and on par with my OG, about the same as the rezound too when I had it for a little period of time. In-call sound does fine. Speakerphone, though, is distorted.

Battery -- I can make it though the day without a problem with medium use, calls, surfing, downloading, a little bit of games. Battery has improved over time too. I keep 4g on all the time. No wifi.

Camera -- Good shots in bright light, low light there is some grain...software good, better than OG but not as good as the S3 I tried in the store.

Signal download -- 4G very good for me in the Raleigh area, 10-15 down, 7-10 up, sometimes higher and lower, 3G all over the place, might be slower than the OG, but I compared it with my friends other phones with about the same dBm and theirs stunk too (moto or lg)

OS -- ICS is quick and simple, I think Sense 4 is pretty good. I disabled most of the bloatware, I think it made Sense a little laggy, but rare.

Size -- most important to me at this point, I needed at 4" phone. Form/size fit nicely in the hand, feels like it made well.

I have one more week to go, this might be a keeper.

Took a screen shot of my speed test this morning. One was from my house and the other at work. At work I get a very bad signal even though I'm next to a window.

Thanks for doing this. I see WAY TOO MANY people come on these forums (SGS 3 and Inc 4g and others) and say "I only get one bar" or "My bars aren't very good" or "my dbm is really high!".

People just don't understand bars and dbm don't matter compared to ACTUAL REAL WORLD USE. Most phones have crappy ways of calculating bars and dbm (even the iphone has had this issue).

Summary: Don't go by bars or dbm, go by USING IT at work and at home. If it works, great. If it doesn't, get a different phone/carrier. PERIOD. :)

Thanks for the reviews. However, Verizon decided to send me the Droid 4 instead. Which I have heard is better than tbolt in a long run.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to post a let you guys know.
