Well I cannot believe that I am posting in another Incredible waiting room thread... I have a Gnex and might give the new DInc a whirl, mainly in the hopes of getting better radios. Tried every radio combination under the sun for the GNex, but the radios are terrible. I'm interested as well to see how I adapt to a smaller phone after having a TB and the GNex. Would like Sense again... I miss the dialer, calender and other things the HTC brings to the table.
 
I was the first to get the orig inc when it name out and i have the AMOLED screen. In the sun I can't see anything on the screen, very hard to see.
 
Does anybody know, what are the size/quality of the pics that you take WHILE recording video? I know the regular camera pics are awesome, but if I am recording a video, and take a few pics of the action, how do THOSE pics turn out?





Also, can it take pics while recording in the slow motion? Or is slow motion a playback option, and not a recording option?
 
Oh man, I am now faced with a major decision. My Org Inc just died today. Screen went on it. All i have is a bunch of thin white lines. Won't boot into recovery or anything. This Ing 4G isn't out either, so do I wait and go without a phone until this comes out. Nothing verizon has interests me at all!

Seriously.
Check out Swappa.
Get yerself a DInc2 for cheap and sit it out till the DInc4G comes out. You'll be happy in the meantime and not out a fortune. You may even be able to sell it after. That way even if you don't sell it for what you bought it for, you basically rented it for cheap.
 
Man, I'd almost take it as an opportunity to buy something silly like a motorola citrus ($50 on swappa right now) just for the experience.
It would be like a badge of honor, being able to say "I suffered through a Moto Citrus to get this DInc4G!"

Ya, I can't switch... 90% of my family is on Verizon and same with In-Laws, so mobil to mobil allows me to have a very minimal talk\text plan and never worry along with the 10 Friends\Family... I looked at Swappa, but an Inc 2 is minimum $195... Not sure what I am going to do now.:(

Verizon will take you off unlimited data (if you are grandfathered) if you go without a data phone for more than a few days. Backup 3g phones are a nice thing to hold on to.

I don't plan on getting a basic phone. If anything I will find an Inc or Inc 2, but if nothing else, I will just wait it out and go without a phone for a couple weeks. Somebody local here has an Inc for $60, waiting to hear back from them.

That's what i would do. Consider it a cheap insurance cost.

I'd also consider an original Droid or an Eris. Both can be found for under $50 and a rooted Eris is worth using for a few weeks. :D

Also I might look at a DX or a Droid 2. Both can be had for under $100.

Also a TBolt for under $125 and an LG Spectrum for under $175.

and a resound for under 250 dollars. happy shopping!
