I'll keep this short: I've been counting down the months until I can renew w/ vzw or maybe sprint this time, because the Inc had become a heap of hurt w/ its memory issues and such. Finally last friday, I said wth and tried this. And it worked.
I put CM7 on the phone and it's all good again. Maybe the issue will return, I don't know, but you can tell you're no longer dealing w/ Sense on top of 2.3, which is then masked by your chosen Launcher. It's all smooth and quick and what Android should be.
Bottomline, I see no reason to upgrade in the near future until something really gamechanging comes along or LTE gets to my area sooner rather than later. And I don't see the Galaxy Nexus as gamechanging save its OS. And I'm sure Cyanogen will have an Ice Cream release out soon enough.
