Incredible Boot Animation

Yeah I'd really like to mash together some of the boot screens and make my own. It'd be cool to have the droid x boot but with the "incredible" screen from the other boots.

Ok, I added a little bit to b00sted4fun's original animation...I changed the resolution to 480x800...let me know what you think!

oops...this is the one I want.

Instead of a new boot animation (who cares BTW except for those people whose phone reboots on it's own) how about a fix for the low memory warning? Or how about one where Gmail doesn't lock up every month and I need to hard reset? Let's get that going before a boot animation I see once a quarter.

Relax, man. There's no info on what this update fixes - it just adds the boot animation to be more in line with the Droid branding. I would be VERY surprised if this update didn't fix some of the bugs we've been seeing.

If that's true, it looks pretty sexy. Now that I have a custom boot animation though, will it be overwritten when the update comes? If so, how do I remove my custom boot animation and sound so I can get the new animation?

What happens for those us that have already changed our boot animation? My guess is that it will be changed with the update and if we liked what we had better we will simply need to change it back. Can anyone confirm?

I'm pretty sure any update including a new boot animation will change it. I flashed a new rom to my phone and it set it back to the stock boot animation. :)

does anyone no where I can just get the nexus one boot animation. I want to upload that on my phone but I cant seem to find it.

I am sure this has already been asked but I did a search and can't find the answer :(

When the new OTA gets released (supposedly today but if not, in the next couple of weeks I'm sure) will I have to do this all over again?

Most likely, yes & if not, definitely after upgrading to Froyo.
