Help Incredible Car Kit Mode

I've seen Videos such as this one

and constant questions pertaining to the Auto Launch of the car panel.

I see in the Car Panel options it has an option to Auto launch NaviPanel in car kit mode. My question is, has anyone seen anything or know anything about the car kit mode and how to activate it?

There's not much to it... there's an app for it preinstalled on the phone. You click it when you get in the car and you're pretty much good to go.

I know that the car panel is one touch shot, however if you dig deeper into the car panel program settings there is an Auto Launch Option for car kit mode.

So I guess I should clarify my question a little further. What is car kit mode? and how do you launch car kit mode?

I'd love to know more about this as well. The MotoDROID has a magnet which auto enables the car or media dock modes. I didn't think the Incredible had this functionality. I was hoping that there would be some type of smart dock detection via the USB but so far I haven't seen any accessories that would support that.
