Help Incredible Issues

My husband's incredible is seriously acting up. He's having to do several battery pulls a day to solve the issue. He'll go to check a text message and it'll start randomly open old text messages it will not function so he pulls the battery. He's using the stock text program. Also the camcorder will come on all of a sudden and he's got to battery pull to turn it off. All buttons are stuck and touchscreen doesn't work.

Anybody else? I did search before I posted and couldn't find these specific issues.

Help and advice is appreciated! He's driving me crazy! He's a stubborn bah-stid and take it in. Apparently I'm the smartphone savvy one in the family. Could've surprised me.

Hey Becky,
Have you tried restoring/resetting the phone? Has it gotten wet? I've not seen these things persistently. I have seen them sporadically when using some early versions of some of the ROMs right after I rooted my first Incredible.
