Help Incredible Ring Volume?

[Stacman]

Is there an app for increasing the ringer/alert volume on the HTC Incredible? The original Motorola Droid had plenty of volume, but the phone sucked. Now we have the Incredible that works great, but only if you hear the ringer.

Has there been any discussion about an update, because I haven't seen anything? I did see discussion though about the Motorola Droid X.

Really? I can't even put the volume all the way up because it is so loud. Look for Sound Manager in the market if you need an app. Sound Manager - Android app on AppBrain

It often depends on what you use for a ringtone. Some are louder than others. Either pick one of the louder ones or or use some software (I'm sure you can Google for it as well as I) that allows you to increase the volume of MP3's and make your own.

Thanks for the replies. The same ringtone I used with the Motorola Droid, which was loud enough, is about half on the Incredible. I'll try the software.

Thanks again!
