Root Incredible S difficult to hack for custom ROMs

Just a quick heads up I found on engadget

HTC locks down Incredible S against custom ROMs too, starts a fight with its best friends -- Engadget

I was considering an Incredible S but also the little geek inside me tells me that at some point I would like to play with custom roms and so on... looks like it's not so easy with the new HTC phones and the Incredible S included.

People over at XDA said it's still possible to root and put custom roms on the Incredible S. People with the Incredible S will just have to be more patient while they work n hacking this phone.
