Incredible S gets the ICS update but not Incredible 2?

As bberry said with the Eris, my DInc2 was outdated by the time I bought it. The Thunderbolt was out BEFORE the DInc2 with 4g, 1.3 front cam, 8GB of internal storage, and probably some other stuff I don't remember but beating the DInc2 hands down on paper.

It may have been out of date by the time it was released but the DInc2 was still a superior phone in my opinion.

I think the DInc4G will be an excellent phone for those that get it.

I live in Northern California. There is NO 4G coverage where I live. I have no use for a 4G phone. Heck, most of my usage is on WiFi so I don't even need the stupid 2GB data plan I'm forced to pay for. I think one month I actually used .4GB of data but most months I use about.002 - .004GB.

I'm fine with the DINC2 but I would certainly like ICS. If nothing else it should make the stupid home screen work in landscape mode. I'll never understand why that isn't the case with the current version.

Go Launcher EX is not a substitute for ICS, but it will give you a more configurable home screen including the option to auto-switch to Landscape view when you rotate the phone. In fact Go Launcher EX is more configurable than Sense 2.1 in every way.

Time to "bump" this topic. It's August so I'm going to start holding my breath awaiting the ICS announcement  Hey, as Judy Tenuta would say, "it could happen" :)
