Help Incredible S not turning on

my HTC incredible S will not turn on. a while ago i woke up in the morning and it had turned off (had full battery). when i tried to turn it on it went to the the boot menu screen.

now when i press the power button it just vibrates 7 times, after that nothing happens. even to get it to do the vibrating thing again i need to pull the battery out and back in.

I have tried to get back in to the boot menu to do a factory reset but it no longer goes in to the boot menu.

any ideas on how to get the software reinstalled????

If it won't boot into bootloader then it's hardbricked and there is no way to reinstall the software or recover the phone. Sorry about that
