I have the Seidio Innocase (love it) and the Zagg invisible shield (used it also for my iPod and wife's BB) and haven't had any issues with either product. I'm too paranoid about scratches to take any chances. If the screen wasn't pure, I wouldn't love my Dinc as much I fear.

Steinheil Crystal Clear on it now. I had the VZW one on when I got it, but hated that it didn't cover all of the glass (what moron thought that was a good idea?) Now I'm rockin' the Steinheil and couldn't be happier. A little patience and scotch tape and it went on perfectly.

I'm on my second Phantom Skin.

The first lasted a good while but more and more bubbles started to show up.

The bottom line is this(for me): I'd rather have a protector on the phone that maybe shows up, doesn't look pristine, has an orange peel look, and is tacky to the touch, then to have an awesome looking screen that cracks/scratches in time. I have to make this rig last two years.... I can deal with the barely noticeable film that protects my phone.... it's not like the screen protectors cost too much anyways.

I like screen protectors because they dramatically reduce finger prints.

But it took me 4 Steinheil CCs to get it installed correctly.

Yep. I fail.

Back to my sexually suggestive comments throughout this thread....like a naked woman, I don't mind my fingerprints being on a Dinc.

Naked all the way, its in an amzer case so its unlikley to scratch unless i drop it or somthing,

Ive already gone through 2 of my 3 vzw screen protectors tho, ill probably put one on in the future, im OCD like that lol

Naked is better tho!

I have been using the VZW one since I got the phone on launch day and I like the clarity and functionality. It covers only the screen (hasn't been a problem).

It does, however, seem to be a magnet for fingerprints and smudges.

I am constantly wiping the phone on my pants, shirt sleeve or other fabric to clean it (I don't carry a microfiber cloth with me!).

As a result, the protector is full of small scratches, seen when the light reflects off it. Nothing thick or gouging.

The area above and below it, however, are not scratched, despite being wiped with the rest of the front of the phone on assorted cottons, denim, etc.

I am therefore considering going naked, assuming the screen is the same piece of glass and hence, won

It seems that I made a big mistake by deciding to go naked with incredible's glass. The glass can most certainly be scratched. Mine isn't bad, but I've got a tiny little nick right in the middle of the screen. I've been gentle as possible with this thing and can't figure out how it could have happened. I actually bought an invisible shield to go on it, but never applied it because I didn't like the look and feel of them on my previous phone.

Any of you guys that decided to go "naked" might want to reconsider.

I use BoxWave CrystalClear. You can't even tell it is there other then the piece of mind I wont scratch my screen. The nice thing about this protector is that It covers the whole screen from top to bottom. Had the verizon cheapie and hated it as It only covered the touch area. Also tried the boxwave anti glare but was not happy with the sheen It has. Crystal clear is the way to go. Even you naked folks would like It. They have a money-back guarantee so it Is worth it.

Yeah ... sexually, naked is the way to go, but Dincually, I protect with a Seidio Ultimate protector and it's just like going naked. The touch is the same and I cannot tell I have any protection.

Kinda sounds like a prophylactic commercial.

I am naked. I have a couple of minor scratches. If anything major happens I will just replace the screen... I said something similar before my daughter was born. Protection is lame.

Ditto, got this. It does take a lil effort, but I got mine on 2nd or 3rd try and because it came with 2, have one more to spare when this one gets too mucked up (if it does).

I've tried the Invisible Skin type covers in the past.. and it just causes too much friction for me.. plus the potential yellowing sucks.

If it were gorrilla glass I may have considered having it naked, but since it is not, I have the verizon screen protectors on mine. Feels smooth, no friction, and I didn't get any airbubbles when applying it on which is a first.

Steinheil CC and the N1 sleeve here.

The first Steinheil application was poor and the film went into the trash, but the second was a snap. My streak ran to two in a row when I got the CC on my wife's Dinc on the first try so now we have a spare.

Steinheil Crystal Clear. I had it naked for one day, but I don't want any scratches. I can hardly tell that it's on there. Super easy to apply once you realize there are 2 pieces of protective film around the actual screen protector. :o
